Valentines and Desserts

Do you have a significant other--a spouse, a sweetheart, a special someone?

We singers in the Master Chorale have a suggestion. Why not make Valentine's Day a weekend? We're presenting a concert on Friday the twelfth called Valentines and Desserts. We will toss our valentines to you and yours in the form of music. The desserts, offered by soloists from the chorale, will sweeten the evening.

As an alternative, if that date is tied up, we will sing this concert on the fifth in Meridianville at North Hills Church at 7:30 PM. You can begin celebrating the romantic day early.

Dr. Erin Colwitz, our conductor, has selected love songs of all varieties. You'll nod in agreement at some of the lyrics, smile at others, and lose yourself in the beauty of love presented through song. Contemporary composer Karl Korte's contributions include all these emotions.

The concerts are free to the public and that is certainly a bonus for the day. We always appreciate any donations offered.
