Stacy Owens

Assistant Conductor

Stacy Owens, Assistant Conductor Stacy Owens is in her twenty-seventh year of teaching choral music education. She has taught at the high school and middle school levels and is currently a choral director in Hartselle City Schools in Hartselle, Alabama. Her groups have continuously achieved superior ratings at the State Choral Performance Assessment over her teaching career. Her choirs have been asked to sing at the Alabama Music Educators Association In-Service Conference and served as an anchor choir for the University of Birmingham Honor Choir. She has been asked to serve as an guest conductor for several honor choirs around the state, and currently is the assistant conductor/sectional leader for the Huntsville Master Chorale. She has been a member of HMC since 2000. She has served as a district chair for Alabama Vocal Association, as well as the executive board in the past. She received her B.A. and M.M.Ed. from Jacksonville State University, and is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and National Association of Music Education.
