Festival Success!

We’re still glowing after our first Huntsville Choral Festival!

It was a tremendous undertaking, but the reviews are in and HMC’s first Choral Festival was, in a word, joyous.

More than 100 musicians joined forces to make beautiful music under an incredible conductor, Dr. Jason Max Ferdinand. We premiered Remel Derrick’s inspired work, “Nothing But Love,” and had the chance to share the joy with this inspired composer. We had so much fun, we're already making plans for Huntsville Choral Festival II in June 2023!

The Composition Contest is back for the 6th year. We’ll again accept entries from all over the country and premier the winning work at Huntsville Choral Festival II. Submissions will be accepted through February 28, 2023. Details at HMC Choral Composition Contest.

One More Thank You!

To all of you who supported the Huntsville Master Chorale during our virtual seasons, we are so grateful. To everyone who kicked their heels up at Mosaic of Love last fall, or heard our outdoor performances, kudos. And to all who attended concerts, submitted compositions in our annual contest, dropped dollars into donation baskets, or participated in HMC’s first Choral Festival, thanks a million.

Wow. A lot happened this year, for sure, and we’re grateful you chose to be a part of it!
